Artists Profile

Sharona is a London based artist. Her inspiration to paint comes from a desire to highlight the beauty and character of things she sees. She is particularly interested in depicting light, reflections and shadows and the interesting and harmonious shapes and colours that they make. Her work is created by using a traditional technique of building up layers of translucent glazes to produce bright and luminous oil paintings with a contemporary style. .

 

Training

Sharona has studied with the Spanish artist Trinidad Ball and has also studied drawing and painting at the Wimbledon School of Art and elsewhere.
